HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF A FLASH MAP

Flash maps consist of vectors. This means they are much smaller and quicker to load than maps that are GIF images. And, once loaded, they can do so much more for you.

Our maps are linked to all the information, destinations and navigation you will need. Make full use of them by using them as your base to get to know the country "inside out".

You must have the Macromedia Flash plug-in to use these maps. NOTE: if you are using Microsoft Explorer 3.01 or earlier first go to View -> Options -> Security -> Safety Level and set the level to medium (return later to set to high). This is to allow your browser to enable Macromedia Flash which is a Microsoft endorsed product.

Once you are Flash-enabled:

TO ZOOM

  1. Place your mouse pointer over the area you are interested in.
  2. Click your RIGHT mouse button.
  3. Select ZOOM IN, ZOOM OUT or SHOW ALL.
  4. Repeat until you can see the detail you need.
  5. NB - don't zoom in too far.
TO MOVE
  1. Left click on the top, bottom, left or right of your screen.
  2. Hold down the mouse button and drag the "grabber" hand across the screen
  3. Let go, and VIOLA, you are there!
TO SELECT
  1. "ACTIVE" areas on the map show up as a "pointer" hand instead of a "grabber".
  2. Active areas may also move, jump or change colour so you know you are over the right area.
  3. Click on an active area to go to the appropriate page.
  4. NB! You must CLOSE (X) the destination or information window before continuing your travels.
ABOVE ALL - - - HAVE FUN!!!
